Move to unlock the apps that keep you sitting.
Choose the apps that pull at you
Two or three is usually enough. Maps, messages and everything else stay open.
Set your hours and your rhythm
Every 45 minutes by default, only during the hours you pick. Evenings and weekends are yours unless you say otherwise.
Move for a minute, and they open
Ten squats, or sit-to-stands, or arm raises. Your camera counts them, then the apps come back.
The camera counts your reps on the device and nothing else. No photo or video is saved, and none of it is uploaded, because none of it leaves your phone.
Recess never learns which apps you chose either. On iPhone that choice is handled by Apple's Screen Time, which tells apps nothing about it.
There is no target to miss and no streak to break. A quiet week costs you nothing. And when you genuinely cannot move, one link lets you through without pretending otherwise.
